● Relentlessly serving the music field for almost 24 years, Varad has established himself as an inspiration to young aspiring flutists and has made his own mark as a successful Flutist. He is one of the most sought after musicians of his generation and known for his versatile playing. The able Gurus that have contributed to his excellence are Late Shri Ramakant Patil , Late Pt. Malharrao Kulkarni and Flute Exponent Pt. Rupak Kulkarni. Varad, who was a child prodigy, effortlessly picked up the instrument at the tender age of 4, and gave his first stage performance at the age of 6.

● Recipient of National Scholarship by Govt of India, Varad is a Graded Artist of AIR.

● Winner of "National Flute Competition" held by Sahara India Pariwar at Lucknow, 2004.

● Performed with renowned Artists like Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Asha Bhosle, Suresh Wadkar, Salim-Sulaiman, Bappi Lahiri, Ajay-Atul, Shridhar Phadke, Shrinivas Khale, Ashok Patki.

● Traveled abroad for live shows to Bangkok, United States of America, South Africa, Australia, Europe, Kuwait , Dubai, West Indies.
